Sex and the City 2 is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures in association with New Line Cinema. It is based on the HBO TV series and sequel to the film Sex and the City in 2008. It raised a record in 3445 theaters on May 27,2010 as one of the widest release for a Rated R romantic comedy movie. The film grossed $3 million from its midnight premiere. The lead stars are Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis. It is directed by Michael Patrick King.
